Delete Your Nurse Space Account
This page explains how to delete an account for the Nurse Space app, operated by Nurse Space LLC. You can delete it in the app, or email us if you cannot use the app. You do not need to sign in on this website.
Option A — Through the app
- Open Nurse Space.
- Open your Profile menu.
- Select Privacy.
- Tap Delete Profile.
- Confirm the deletion.
When this deletion succeeds, Nurse Space removes the user account and associated social records. Direct-message conversations may be removed for both people in the conversation, not only for you.
Option B — Without the app
You can request account deletion by email. A person on our support team reviews the request. Email requests are not completed automatically, and we do not promise that a request will be finished within a specific number of days.
Use the subject “Nurse Space account deletion request.” The link above opens a message with that subject. In the message, include:
- The email address associated with your Nurse Space account
- Your username, if you have it
Do not send your password, nursing-license number, or other sensitive credentials by email. We will not ask you for those.
Support may need to verify that you own the account before fulfilling the request. Verification uses the account email and username you provide. It does not require you to email a password or license number.
What is deleted
When deletion succeeds, Nurse Space removes:
- Your user account
- Associated social records, such as the profile and social content tied to that account
Direct-message conversations may be removed for both participants. Some media, including photos and videos, is removed through a Cloudinary cleanup step that runs after the account deletion. That media can remain visible for additional time until cleanup finishes. We have not confirmed a fixed number of hours or days for that cleanup.
Nurse Space does not currently process payments, so there are no payment receipts to delete.
What may remain
Certain Lounge statistics may remain after deletion. Those statistics do not include your name, email address, account ID, or nursing-license number. They may still include professional categories, location, or interests.
Copies of information may also remain in backups or system logs. The retention period for backups and logs is not confirmed, so we do not state one here.
A waitlist email submitted on www.nursespace.app is stored separately from an app account. Deleting the app account does not, by itself, remove that waitlist email. You can ask us to remove it by emailing wislyrn@nursespace.app. We have not published a fixed time for that removal.
If you created a Huddle
In the updated beta experience, Huddle leadership succession applies when a Charge Nurse leaves or deletes their account. An accepted Co-Charge inherits leadership. Without an accepted successor, each Huddle you lead enters a 14-day leadership grace period. During that period, existing members can open the Huddle, read messages, and volunteer to become Charge Nurse, but they cannot post new content. If nobody accepts leadership within 14 days, that Huddle and its remaining content are deleted. Some media removal through Cloudinary may finish asynchronously after that.
If account deletion fails, use Option B and email wislyrn@nursespace.app. Do not include your password or nursing-license number. When succession is available for your account, nominating a Co-Charge before you delete can help your Huddles continue under new leadership.
